Where the hand goes,
the heart follows.

Welcome to Laasyam Kuchipudi Dance Academy. We are thrilled you've chosen our school to pursue this wonderful classical dance form. Students of all ages and backgrounds are welcome — passion is the only pre-requisite.

यतो हस्तस्ततो दृष्टिर्यतो दृष्टिस्ततो मनः ।
यतो मनस्ततो भावो यतो भावस्ततो रसः ॥
“Yatho Hasta thatho Drishti, Yatho Drishti thatho Manah,
Yatho Manah thatho Bhaava, Yatho Bhaava thatho Rasa”

Where the hand goes, the eyes follow; where the eyes go, the mind follows;
where the mind goes, so follows the expression; and from expression flows true emotion.

An ancient art, beautifully taught

A graceful tradition, passed hand to hand

Kuchipudi is one of the major classical dance forms of India — a dance of poise, storytelling and soulful gesture, passed down from masters to students under the Guru–Shishya parampara.

At Laasyam, we pride ourselves on committed, structured teaching that develops the student not only as a dancer, but as a well-rounded human being. Through practice, students build balance, coordination, confidence and a deeper appreciation of this living culture.
